Brush College Road Overpass at Faries Parkway and NS Railroad Project – Public Information Meeting
You are invited to attend a Public Information Meeting held by the City of Decatur concerning proposed improvements at the Brush College Road Overpass at Faries Parkway and NS Railroad project. The proposed design includes construction of a 4-5 lane roadway section between the existing NS RR underpass south of Faries Parkway to just north of Harrison Street, construction of an overpass at Faries Parkway and NS RR on Brush College Road, construction of a 4-5 lane roadway section on Faries Parkway, construction of a jug handle connector roadway, and various sideroad improvements. The proposed improvement will involve periods of road closure during construction. All persons interested in the project are invited to attend this meeting.

Purpose of the Public Information Meeting:
The meeting will present the current project limits and address topics such as the proposed improvements, construction and traffic staging, and project timeline.
Representatives from the City of Decatur and the design engineer, AECOM, will be available to discuss the project, answer questions and receive comments. Exhibits will be on display. Comments can be submitted in writing at the meeting or mailed after attending the meeting. All comments submitted will be reviewed. Deadline for comments is Friday April 10, 2020.
