Who would know better about the walking routes to schools than the kids who walk the routes every day!. The Decatur area safe routes to school program's evaluation component of the grant stated with the walkability audits around the school. Four kids accompanied by two adults walked along the major routes around William - Harris Elementary School. the evaluation was based on the "Walking Checklist" developed by the National Center for Safe Routes to School. May 2nd 2008 - New School Travel Plan Now Available
April 30th 2008 - On May 12th 8:30 AM onwards, the SRTS team in collaboration with William-Harris Elementary School will be conducting the "Walkability Audits" around the William Harris Elementary School.
