In the City of Decatur today, openness and transparency are our goal as we work to keep our residents and the virtual world at large as informed as possible while hearing from Decatur residents about how we can best be of service to you. We want you to see your government as an open door, where you can get what you need when you need it. We also hope that you will be willing to serve as a sounding board and source of information for the City as public input and participation will be important as we work each and every day to build the best community possible.

In the coming months you will see the City reaching out directly to our residents and neighborhoods, building relationships with our community while adding new channels for you to communicate directly with your city government.
