The Decatur Police Department Chaplain Program was designed to provide necessary resources to meet the human needs of the officers and employees of the Decatur Police Department during those situations where the need for interpersonal assistance exceed the training and resources of the Decatur Police Department and where the training and experience of the Chaplains might be beneficial to those in need.
