Decatur Councilman James Duies
Councilman James Duies is the Global Pensions Manager for Archer-Daniels-Midland Company where he has been employed since 2006. An Eisenhower High School graduate, he served as a Decatur Police Officer early on in his career and spent the majority of his professional career working in investment management for Union Planters Bank in Decatur and Evergreen Investments in Charlotte, NC prior to joining ADM.
James holds both a B.A. in American Studies (1995) and a Master of Business Administration (2001) from Millikin University. He is a member of the Salvation Army board of directors and was previously a member of the Decatur Area Arts Council and Millikin University Alumni boards.
James and his wife, Erica (Sloan) reside in Decatur.
