The following road closure for North Moffet Lane, at the Norfolk Southern railroad crossing, has been extended to approximately 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 8, 2012 due to inclement weather. Motorists are still encouraged to use West Marietta Street, west to North Sunnyside Road, as an alternate route. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Norfolk Southern Railroad crew will be working at the railroad crossing at North Moffet Lane, making repairs to the crossing, beginning Monday, May 7, 2012, weather permitting. This work will cause the total closure of the railroad crossing at North Moffet Lane starting at 8:00 a.m., and continuing to approximately 6:00 p.m., Monday, May 7, 2012, for one day only. Motorists should use extreme caution around the work zone and are encouraged to use West Marietta Street west to North Sunnyside Road as an alternate route.
