Major City Thoroughfare To Close for
Part Of the Day on Tuesday
DECATUR - The Garfield Avenue Bridge between Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and Jasper Street will be completely closed from about 9 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20.
The road will be closed to install scaffolding under the structure and a second complete closure could be required later in the week. We would encourage motorists to watch area signage for future closure dates.
