CITY SEEKS PUBLIC INPUT FOR UPCOMING GOALS SESSION
DECATUR - The City of Decatur is seeking input from the public on future goals and priorities in preparation for the Decatur City Council goals session to be held at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 4 in the City Council Chambers of the Decatur Civic Center.
Residents can take an online survey HERE to let the city know what they think top priorities should be over the next 12-24 months and beyond. If residents do not have internet access, they can call 424-2753 with their list of goals and priorities.
Over the last several years the Council has worked to set goals for the Decatur community, items which serve as a roadmap for council and city staff efforts as we work to grow and develop the city. The Council determined that addressing water and police needs and improving neighborhoods were top priorities for the past year. While the pursuit of those goals will continue, the time has come for the council to begin establishing and updating priorities.
