• At least 21 years of age, but not more than 57 years of age, with a maximum retirement age of 62

• Physically fit

• High school graduate

• Valid Illinois driver's license

• Valid Firearms Owner's Identification (FOID) Card

• Submit to a physical examination if indicated

• Successful background check of criminal activity

• Successful oral interview
