Autumn Shoreline Classic |

The 22nd annual Autumn Shoreline Classic will be held Sunday, September
18, 2011. The 5k and 15k Road Race will begin at 7:30 a.m. in
Nelson Park and run along the shores of Lake Decatur. Please

Betsy Smith 5k Run/Walk |

| The 6th annual Betsy Smith 5k Run/Walk will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at 8:00 a.m. The participants will begin the run/walk at St. Mary's Hospital and will proceed south on 16th Street. Participants will then enter Nelson Park via Chandler Park access road. The end of the walk/race will bring runners back to the intersection of Lake Shore Drive and 16th Street, before finishing at St. Mary's Hospital. | |

The Macarthur High Schools Homecoming parade will be held on Friday, September 20, 2011 beginning at 4:30 p.m. The parade will begin in Fairview Park and travel east on Eldorado to Fairview Ave., north on Fairview Ave. to King Street, west on King Street to Taylor, then north on Taylor and ending at the lower parking lot of Macarthur High School. |

The Decatur Public Schools HIP Parade will be held Saturday, October 1, 2011, beginning at 11:00 a.m. in downtown Decatur. The 26th Annual Toy Run for the Ronald McDonald House will be held on Sunday, October 2, 2011. The group will leave the Tuscola McDonalds at 9:00 a.m. and travel Route 36 to the Rural King parking lot in Decatur. The group will depart from Rural King at approximately 10:00 a.m. proceeding westbound on Route 36 to the Decatur Conference and Convention Center. The group will depart from the Decatur Conference and Convention Center at 11:00 a.m. and travel to Springfield. This event is sponsored by the Illinois Chapter "D" Gold Wing Road Riders Association. |
